June 25th, 2020 | by NEWCAOur apologies, but we need to clarify a few points about the new Oshkosh location for the upcoming “Drive Thru Job Fair” as our initial report got a few details wrong.
The statewide “Drive Thru Job Fair” will take place on Wednesday, July 15 from 12n-4pm—a list of all locations can be found here.
All Alliance members are invited to participate in this FREE event taking place throughout the state of Wisconsin and is intended to demonstrate that there is still a lot of opportunity available within the construction trades despite how COVID-19 has hurt the economy.
Participating companies are limited to one 1-page flyer per company. Details on suggested information to include and parameters for participating appear at the end of this story. Participants will not even need to exit their cars—each will receive a bag filled with the job opportunities supplied.
There are two locations within the NEW Construction Alliance territory that members can participate in this excellent, unique opportunity.
GREEN BAY DETAILS:
The Green Bay “Drive Thru” is being held at the Riverside Ballroom, located at 1560 Main Street, Green Bay, WI 54302. To participate, materials must be dropped off at the Forward Services Corporation’s Green Bay office—located at 726 Pine Street, Green Bay, WI 54301—by 12n on Friday, July 10, 2020

OSHKOSH DETAILS (UPDATE: Location is Full/No Longer Accepting New Job Listings):
Construction companies can participate in the “Drive Thru Job Fair’s” Fox Valley location: Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce – 120 Jackson Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901 from 12-4pm on July 15, 2020.
Materials for this location need to be dropped off by Thursday, July 9, 2020 by 3:30pm at Lakeside Packaging Plus, located at 100 W Fernau Ave—Door 8, Oshkosh, WI 54901.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
To participate, each Alliance member needs to provide 400 one-page recruitment flyers. The flyer should be formatted on 8.5x11” paper and information can be on one or both sides—but only one page per company.
Sponsors suggest you include some or all of the following on your flyer:
• Company name, location, logo, etc.
• Available position(s)
• How to apply
• Details about company benefits and/or wages
• Your contact information and preferred method of follow up by job seekers (email, phone or both)
• What makes your company special, what is the service or product you provide?
• EEO statement
Your flyer will be inserted into a presentation bags, which are being assembled utilizing proper COVID-19 safety protocols.
