Construction Executive magazine, published by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), announced its second annual The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms list for the United States as part of the publication’s 200th edition.
According to a press release from ABC, Construction Executive developed the rankings “by asking hundreds of U.S. construction accounting firms to submit their 2019 revenues from construction practice, number of CPAs in construction practice, percentage of firm’s total revenues from construction practice and number of construction clients in 2019, among other data.”
Two of the NEW Construction Alliance’s members not only made the cut, but both placed in the Top 10. Gold-level Founding Member Wipfli ranked #4 on the list, and Baker Tilly took seventh place—a hearty congratulations to both companies.
Wipfli Senior Manager Marcus Koehl, CPA, was thrilled by the news, “Receiving recognition as one of the top construction accounting firms in the country, and the only firm headquartered in Wisconsin, is a major accomplishment.” He continued, “This recognition reflects the deep commitment our team members and staff bring to our clients and to advancing and supporting the construction and infrastructure industry throughout Northeast Wisconsin and beyond.”
“Baker Tilly is proud to be recognized as a Top 50 Construction Accounting Firm. Our focus on industry specialization allows our dedicated professionals to serve our construction clients with the audit, accounting, tax and consulting services they deserve,” stated Andrew Dilling, partner at Baker Tilly. “We are also proud to support the NEW Construction Alliance and its members through financial support and collaboration in an effort to sustain the success of the industry that we all depend on.”
“It speaks volumes to the strength and vitality of the construction trades in our region that two of our members not only placed on the list, but were in the Top 10 with one even placing in the Top 5,” commented Joe Giganti, executive director of the NEW Construction Alliance. “And that’s nothing to say the value their membership in the Alliance brings to our growing membership. We are very honored to have both Wipfli and Baker Tilly as an integral part of our efforts to strengthen the image of and participation in the construction trades within our 18-county area.”
