Northeast Wisconsin’s Frostman Confirmed as Secretary of Workforce DevelopmentShare this on Facebook

The Wisconsin State Senate unanimously confirmed Caleb Frostman as the secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) this week.

Frostman, who hails from Sturgeon Bay, WI, served briefly as a state senator and previously served as executive director of the Door County Economic Development Corp., has strong ties to Northeast Wisconsin. Hopefully that will serve to strengthen cooperation in the Alliance’s efforts to help solve the construction industry’s workforce shortage.

In a statement, Frostman said, “the team at DWD is second-to-none, and I am eager to continue our impactful work in expanding and strengthening our workforce system."
