WIC WEEK SPOTLIGHT: Tweet/Garot’s Hope Voigt

March 5th, 2020 | Published by NEW Construction Alliance

This week the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) celebrates Women in Construction (WIC) Week. Here at The Build Out, we will be highlighting the female stars of Northeast Wisconsin’s construction workforce throughout the entire month of March.

First up is the NEW Construction Alliance’s own Hope Voight. In addition to being an indispensable member of the Alliance’s board of directors and chair of our marketing and public relations task force, Hope has been an integral part of Tweet/Garot Mechanical, Inc., for the past 12 years.

Starting out as an accountant with Tweet, her skills and talent were quickly noted and soon became a part of the company’s leadership. First she was promoted to Operations Manager and then 4 ½ years later she was elevated to chief operating officer (COO) of Tweet/Garot Mechanical, Inc.

“Working with Hope as part of the Alliance easily demonstrates why she’s in her leadership role with Tweet,” observed Joe Giganti, the Alliance’s executive director. “She is very knowledgeable, focused and knows how to get things done. And she does it in a way that not only invites others into the process but empowers them to succeed as well.”

In addition to her role at Tweet, where she leads the executive team and is responsible for the company’s operational performance, Hope gives of her time to worthy charitable causes as well. She is the past president and a board member of of House of Hope–Green Bay. House of Hope’s mission is to provide safe and supportive housing for young parents and children struggling with homelessness. House of Hope’s goal is to help these parents transform into confident, independent and successful members of the community.

Thank you Hope for the amazing trail you continue to blaze in our industry.
