Tri City will celebrate serving the community for 60 years in 2020. A second-generation company, they furnish and install a full line of commercial glass and glazing products and hollow metal and hardware. Tri City also offers a wide variety of residential products, including doors, windows, screen rooms, shower doors and glass. Plus, they offer in-shop and mobile auto glass services.
Bob Meyer, general manager at Tri City, said they wanted to be a part of the Alliance for several reasons beyond the obvious: finding new tracks avenues to source and hire high-quality members for their workforce. “There is an opportunity to help people in the community help themselves through respected, well-paying careers,” Meyers told The Build Out. “We need to change public perception of construction related employment from just a job to a respected career. I also think it is good for the industry to get competing forces together to work for a common goal. As we work together as a group, we will be driven to be better individual entities, strengthening our industry, driving the perception upward.”
