When the Stay At Home Order was first announced in Wisconsin, it had many wondering: Am I Essential?

For construction workers, the answer is YES.

Most trades are able to keep business running as usual since they fit under the “Essential Infrastructure” category. Social Distancing Requirements and CDC Recommendations are to be followed to ensure the businesses can continue operating under the essential status.

It was expected that construction would continue in Wisconsin amid COVID-19. Jim Valla, CEO of NAIOP Wisconsin, predicted that Evers would follow suit with Ohio’s Stay At Home Order.

Evers’ stood behind his statement on the construction industry: “Obviously, it’s a very important one”.
